Hello,
We are writing to you to let you know what your audience wants. With the Upfront coming up on the 17th we realize time is ticking and there is one pilot that we have fallen in love with and would love to see on the 2007-2008 CW Fall Line-Up. The Untitled Maggie Friedman Project AKA Spellbound is a great hip and up and coming show that has a great amount of potential to be a big hit, all it needs is a chance.
Spellbound has a great head writer and an amazing cast, it has all the right ingredients for a successful show. Both lead actors already have a fan following. Justin Hartley was one of the most popular actors on the soap opera Passions, and after leaving he was immediately cast last year in one of the most buzzed about pilots, though we all know the story with that, and now with his seven episode run on Smallville he has increased his fan base along the way with a very loyal following from his past. Lauren Bittner has a following from her Nobody’s Watching pilot that became an overnight sensation on Youtube. Plus the writing talents of Maggie Friedman, who worked on one of the most successful teen dramas, Dawson’s Creek, you can’t go wrong.
Spellbound is something so different from anything that is on television right now. You usually don’t hear about a young life coach witch with a male romance writer roommate. The show is so fresh and original and there are plenty of stories to tell. Plus, the banter between the two leads, Alex and Danny, is so amusing and you find yourself rooting for them to end up together.
We are writing to you to let you know, that even though it is only in it’s pilot stage, there’s already a dedicated fan base for the show. Spellbound is destined to be a ‘sleeper’ hit. All it needs is a chance, and we hope you give it that chance.
